The YWCA of Troy-Cohoes is pleased to honor Lauren Payne of Spiral Design Studio as the 2008 Resourceful Woman during our Eighth Annual Event on November 13, 2008. This year the YWCA will also honor a “friend of the YWCA” and the recipient for 2008 is Don Csaposs of the Town of Guilderland.
 
Lauren Payne, co-founder and managing partner of Spiral Design Studio is dedicated to making her business a great place to work and to foster a strong commitment to the Capital Region community. Lauren Payne was the founder of the Community by Design program launched by Spiral Design to encourage local businesses to donate services to local non-profits.   Lauren continues to foster a real workplace where employees can grow, show their creativity and donate their time to local causes. Lauren Payne has been involved in many community and non-profit events throughout the past twenty years; donating her time, energy and creative services to help our local community.
 

All proceeds from this November event will befit the YWCA of Troy-Cohoes Sailly Catlin Resource Center. where women get the tools they need to craft the lives they want for themselves. The Resource Center provides support and programs that help women reach their potential, both personally and professionally. Over 500 women participate in Resource Activities each year.
